《The Beyond》is written in English for the purposes of widespread understanding and the cultural intercourse. Traditional Chinese  paintings record a true emotional rapport with a beloved native country which we never tired of probing into the precincts of abundance. This form of art also tended towards a timeless quality with the quest for more universal messages and content, not least the value of reticence which could abate our pains of excessive desires.

   The traditional culture is long on message, and the present book expounds the canonical wisdom through the analysis of Chinese paintings. Maybe a new departure of the philosophy of life would play a part in shaping our ways of thinking.

本書以英語為語言媒介，冀能廣泛傳播，達文化交流之效。傳統國畫載錄了國民與令人鍾愛的祖國河山的融洽關係，而這種默契靈交亦令我們不厭煩地探索這豐饒的領域。這藝術形式也趨向一種博大永恆的探求；尤其是當中的節律價值，可撫慰人們慾念渴想之苦。

傳統文化寓意深遠，本畫通過國畫的分析以闡述一種經典的智慧；可能一種對生命思考的新方式可成為我們思想的部份。
